*Sugar gliders in the wild will strip the bark off of eucalyptus trees to get to the sap underneath. Having eucalyptus toys or branches in your cage is an excellent enrichment item because it allows your gliders to exercise their natural instinct! This behavior is also great for the health of their teeth. It's best to always have at least 1 eucalyptus toy or cork toy available for your gliders to chew on.
*Foraging cups are great features to hide some of your gliders' favorite treats in. Scattering treats around their environment encourages the gliders to "hunt" for their food, keeping their senses sharp and their curious minds active! Sugar gliders in the wild are opportunistic-feeding omnivores, so this hunting behavior is something they naturally look to engage.
